(I have the discs, but without the licensing dongle, I believe they're pretty much useless). I didn't even get the key to turn it on! On the other hand, I did pay significantly less than 750 quid. Thus, mine's somewhat rewired (Denford have released complete wiring diagrams etc.,) and driven by LinuxCNC with a Gecko 540.

These seem to be an easier path to follow compared to a manual mill conversion. My initial research suggests a Denford Novamill might be a good option - newer and better spec than a Starmill, and smaller than a Triac (which wouldn't fit!). Alternatively a Boxford 190 VMC could work.

New Owner of MicroMill 2000, HELP! Looks to be in perfect shape, with all the manuals and software. 2003 model. However it seems to be missing the key and dongle. The cable was used on all machines (other than the MicroMill and MicroTurn supplied in the USA) The Internal serial cable used in conjunction with this cable was BI01812A.
